At Cap de Creus, it is common for the Tramontana to blow for several days in a row. The consequence is a landscape of almost lunar appearance, with brown and grey tones. In contrast to the rugged landscape on land, the cloudless sky gives the sea an intense and bright blue colour.
The magic of this place was inspiring for, among others, Dali. It is also said that the Tramontana affects the emotions of the people who live there, with the same intensity as it does on the sea and the landscape.
